How I got into chasing and catching crypto criminals in the dark of night online.

I was asked by a client in Hawaii, who I was developing a website for,
“Hey you’re really good at online, could you use your skills in tech to help me to recover my cryptocurrency?”
I responded,
“To be honest, I don’t know, but I’ll try.”
Criminals had infiltrated a Bitcoin mining community, due to the gross negligence of the fraudulent leaders of BitClubNetwork.
Later, those leaders would be caught and charged by Federal authorities for a fraudulent exchange and mining operation.
Not one member had been vetted, and so, organised crime moved in and worked through the community like a virus.
It turns out that my background, which included training advisory accountants and years earlier, debt collection and debtors investigations, had inadvertently combined the right mix of skills to track down and catch crypto criminals.
Who knew?
Yet before I knew this, I simply felt emotional empathy for the victims.
People were been defrauded by complex organised crime.
